What has happened?
- Underpinning of the neighbouring property has been completed
- Waterproofing (tanking) between the masjid and the underpinned property has been designed and applied. This has caused the plan to slip by approximately 2 weeks
- Foundations for the new front entrance have been started
- Taylor Wimpey will shortly take back their site as they have commenced their demolition works. As a result:
- we may have to apply to the council to close the road while the first floor is being lifted into place; and
- access from the front of the building may not be possible for a few weeks. We are working with the contractor to find a workaround
What will the impact be to you?
- The current front entrance will only be in use for another 2-3 weeks
- Access to sisters areas remains unchanged for now
Instructions for IANL users
- Do not park in front of the Taylor Wimpey (Homebase) entrance
- Continue to use the new main temporary entrance to the masjid
- Please keep out of the hoarded areas and supervise children at all times

- Completion of footings for entrance hall
- Walls for entrance hall to be built
