We are looking for volunteers to help run youth activity sessions for the following girls games and activities:
- Dodgeball
- Padded Fencing action
- Table Tennis
- Board games
There are also plans in the future for:
- Life Skills Rescue & Adventure club (Duke of Edinburgh Club for Girls) which will run either on Sundays 5-6pm or Fridays after 7pm
- Roller skating club (Sunday 11am or Friday after 7pm)
- Life Guard and rescue club (Fridays 8-9pm)
- Tarbiyyah Program
Role requirements
The successful volunteers will be responsible for setting up and organising fast-paced action games, keeping players safe from trips and falls and acting as a judge between games.
At the end of the session they will pack up and collect all balls, games and equipment and put them away securely and ready for the next session.
Number of people: 5 (On rotation – working in pairs
Gender: Female
Hours per week: 3 – 5 hrs
Duration: 15:00 – 18:00 Sunday
Skills Required:
- Enthusiastic and encouraging, good team spirit and sportsmanship
- Helps resolve any issues or arguments
- Willing to learn new skills and team games
Sports games training will be provided
Our intention is to develop an official Fencing Club and Dodgeball team
