New Sisters Class: Senaman Tua (Malaysian healing Exercise)

Discover Your Inner Strength: Healing Movement for Sisters at IANL

Are you looking for a way to decompress, strengthen your body, and find true mental clarity? Join us at IANL for a transformative weekly practice that focuses on deep healing and functional strength.

Starting this March, we are introducing Senaman Tua—a hidden, 1,000-year-old Melayu movement practice where martial arts, mindful movement, breathwork, and deep spirituality meet.

✨ Why Senaman Tua? The Benefits for You

Unlike high-intensity workouts that can leave you feeling drained, Senaman Tua is designed to restore and revitalise. It is “The Malay Way” of maintaining a healthy body and a calm soul.

Accessible to All Abilities

We warmly welcome elders and those who may require a chair to join us. The movements are highly adaptable; whether you are over 70 or prefer a seated “Chair Senaman Tua,” this practice is for you.

By joining these sessions, you will experience

  • Joint & Bone Health: Specific focus on easing arthritis and using gentle yet powerful movements that lubricate joints and improve bone density.
  • Restored Mobility: This practice has helped elders find the strength to get out of bed independently, get down onto the floor, and get back up again.
  • Support for Ibadah: Many participants find that improved flexibility and strength allow them to return to performing the full movements of Salaat with ease.
  • Deep Breathwork: Techniques to increase oxygen flow, reduce anxiety, and boost energy levels.
  • Core & Posture: Develop “functional strength” that helps you move through daily life with grace.

Guided by an International Expert

You’ll be in safe hands. The sessions are led by Nusaybah Brazzo, an international trainer who has spent years studying these traditional arts across Indonesia and Malaysia. She brings a wealth of knowledge on how to adapt these ancient movements for modern wellbeing.
