Fajr Prayer
On Eid day Fajr prayer will be at 5:15am.
Eid Prayers
Eid prayers will be held at the Mosque and there will be 5 Eid Prayers:
- 6:15 am – Imam Mohamed Habaik
- 7:30 am – Qari Sameh Ghazal
- 8:30 am – Qari Mus’ab Mukhtar
- 9:30 am – Sh. A Hasan

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the Prayer time.
Sisters Arrangements
There will be space for sisters in all 5 prayers, including the additional space on the brothers’ side.
Pay Zakat-ul-Fitr before Eid Prayers
It is recommended to pay Zakat-ul-Fitr before the Eid Salah. This is so that the donations can be distributed to the people in need in time.
This year it is £5 per member of a household (including children and babies) and you can pay it online here:
Special Parking Arrangements
Barnet Council has graciously agreed to a Parking Enforcement Relaxation for our congregants attending Eid prayers!
Here is everything you need to know to ensure your morning goes smoothly and without any fines:
⏱️ When: 6:30 am to 2:30 pm on Eid Day. (Please note: This is for Eid prayer only. We kindly ask that you do not leave your vehicle parked for the entire day).
📍 Where: The relaxation applies ONLY to the following roads:
- Christchurch Avenue
- Churchfield Avenue
- Rosemont Avenue
- Sandringham Gardens
- Woodberry Grove
✅ What is covered:
You may park in Resident Permit Bays (without a permit) and Pay-and-Display / Pay-by-Phone Bays (without payment).
⚠️ Important – What is NOT covered:
Barnet Council will still be strictly enforcing safety-critical rules. Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) will be issued if you park on:
❌ Single & Double Yellow Lines
❌ Footways / Pavements
❌ Loading Bays
❌ Blocking our neighbours’ driveways or access points
Islam places a heavy emphasis on treating our neighbours with the utmost respect and consideration. Let’s reflect the beauty of our Deen by parking safely, responsibly, and mindfully.
Please share this page with friends and family who are planning to pray at Finchley Mosque so everyone is aware of the rules.
Jazakumullahu Khayran for your cooperation, and we look forward to welcoming you! 🌙
