What is the Community Zakat Programme?
The Islamic Association of North London has partnered with the National Zakat Foundation to distribute Zakat directly to Muslims in need within our local community.
Through this programme, eligible individuals and families can receive a one-off financial grant to help with immediate hardship — whether that is food, clothing, bills, medicine, or other essential needs.
Everything is handled face-to-face at Finchley Mosque by trained volunteers. There is no judgement — only support.
| Household | Grant Amount |
|---|---|
| Single person | £125 |
| Couple | £150 |
| Each child | +£25 per child |
Maximum grant of £250 per household. One application per 12-month period.
