Cleaning the house of Allah is a great act of worship and a Sunnah that the Prophet (SAW) instructed his companions to do. If you’d like to assist in fulfilling this Sunnah Ramadan please sign up.
Role
- To ensure all the assigned masjid areas, including wudhu and washroom areas are cleaned at regular intervals in the whole masjid and that all necessary items are well stocked up, such as tissues, soap, hand sanitiser, etc.
- Ensure all cleaning mishaps are dealt with in a calm and swift manner.
Be available from Magrib, Isha and assist with events, iftar and suhoor clear up, and as per any rota. - Liaise with your Team Lead to communicate any issues and stock.
- Attend training meetings.
Role Specifications
- Number of people: 3+
- Gender: Brothers and Sisters
- Hours per week: 2-8 hours variable
- Duration: Ramadan 2025 and Eid ul Fitr 2025
Skills Required:
- Efficient cleaning skills.
- Communication skills.
- Proactive.
- Able to take instruction and work well in a team.
- Familiar with all necessary policies of IANL and the Ramadan Handbook.
