We are pleased to announce a new weekly swimming initiative for brothers in our community.
Appeal for Adult Swimmers
Following our successful launch of lifeguard training for our youth, we are delighted to share that we now filled up that course and have our first cohort of young people ready to begin their qualifications.
To ensure the pool remains strictly male-only during their training, we require a core group of 10 to 15 adult brothers to attend and swim alongside them.
While the youth group undergoes professional lifeguard training, adult attendees can enjoy a standard fitness swim. The pool at Southgate features a 3.8-metre deep section, making it ideal for diving and developing strong swimming and rescue skills.
Furthermore, if we see consistent interest and attendance from the brothers, we plan to request adult lifeguard training sessions in the future.

- When: Fridays, 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Where: Southgate Leisure Centre
- Cost: Estimated £15–£25 per month (To be confirmed)
