This year is extra special. We’re not just opening our doors; we’re celebrating the 10th anniversary that has helped build so many bridges across the country. And we’d love for you to celebrate with us.

What is Visit My Mosque Day All About?
It’s a simple, warm-hearted idea. It’s a day for our neighbours, colleagues, and friends from all faiths and none to step inside, have a friendly chat, and see what life is like in a mosque. In a bustling city like London, it’s a brilliant chance to connect with the people in our community and share a cup of tea.
In past years, we had such a fantastic time meeting so many of you (you can have a look at how it went here), and Insha’Allah (God willing), this year will be even better.
What to Expect on the Day?
Come along for a relaxed and friendly afternoon where you can look forward to:
- A Warm Welcome: First things first, expect a friendly face to greet you!
- Guided Tours: We’ll show you around the mosque, explaining the beautiful architecture and the different features of the prayer hall.
- Lovely Refreshments: What’s a get-together without tea and cake? We’ll have plenty of snacks and drinks for you to enjoy.
- Open Q&A: Have you ever been curious about Islam, our practices, or our community? This is the perfect, informal setting to ask anything you like!
- Observe Prayer: You’ll have the opportunity to quietly observe the afternoon prayer (Asr).
For a decade, mosques across the UK have been opening their doors to foster understanding and friendship. Alhamdulillah (all praise is for God), it’s been a fantastic journey, and we’re so proud to be a part of it here in North London.
