IANL Academy is dedicated to delivering high-quality Islamic education to the local community, preserving and passing on Islamic teachings and values for generations to come. As the Academy continues to grow, we are looking for a Lead Administrator to take charge of its day-to-day running and be the friendly, reliable first point of contact for our parents.
This is a role with real reach. The Lead Administrator is the person families turn to with a question, the person teachers rely on for resources, and the person who keeps our records, systems and fees in good order. About the role
The Lead Administrator will:
- Handle the day-to-day administration of the Academy
- Act as the main point of contact for parents and families
- Keep parents informed about Academy activities and events
- Manage student information and records accurately and confidentially
- Manage and maintain Academy systems
- Manage Academy fees, including invoicing, collection and record-keeping
- Manage inventory, stock and supplies
- Support our teaching staff with the resources they need
What we’re looking for
- Strong organisational skills and confidence with admin systems and basic IT
- Excellent spoken and written English, and a warm, patient manner with parents
- Care and discretion when handling student and family information
- The ability to work independently and prioritise sensibly
- Experience in a school, madrasah, charity or office administration setting (desirable, not essential for the right candidate)
- A DBS check will be required, as the role involves working within a children’s education setting
