We are delighted to share a significant milestone in the journey of our mosque. After much reflection, consultation, and prayer, we are officially launching Roadmap 2030—our four-year strategic framework designed to help IANL become a model mosque for North London and beyond.
Why a Roadmap?
Finchley Mosque has always been more than just a building; it is a spiritual home for over 65 nationalities. As our community grows, so do our responsibilities. Roadmap 2030 isn’t about chasing trends; it’s about grounding ourselves in the Maqasid al-Shariah (the objectives of Islamic law) to ensure we are nurturing the mind, body, and soul of every person who walks through our doors.

Whether you are a long-standing member of our congregation, a young person looking for mentorship, or a sister seeking a supportive circle, this roadmap has been designed with you in mind. As our Imam, Sh. A. Hasan, beautifully put it: “The masjid is the heart of our community—a place where faith is nurtured, guidance is offered, and hope is renewed.”
