As-salamu alaikum Sisters,
With autumn just around the corner, what better way to embrace the season than by getting out of the city and into the heart of nature? We are excited to invite you to a special sisters hike through the stunning Kent countryside, all while supporting our beloved Finchley Mosque!
Join us for a day of fresh air, reflection, and sisterhood as we explore the beautiful Knole Park and Ightham Mote Circular Route. Imagine walking through ancient deer parks, over rolling hills, and along peaceful woodland trails. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with Allah’s creation, clear your mind, and make new friends, insha’Allah.
This is more than just a walk; it’s a chance to walk with purpose. Every step we take will be to raise vital funds for our masjid, helping us to continue serving our community.
A Day of Scenery and Sisterhood
Our route is considered beginner-friendly, but it’s a good 4-5 hour walk, so it’s a lovely challenge to take on together! We’ll have plenty of breaks for rests, prayers, and of course, a picnic lunch amidst the beautiful scenery.
The walk will be led by our experienced sisters, Noshabah Raja and Naheema Sharif. One of our leads is a Lowland Trainee and is qualified in outdoor first aid, so you’ll be in good hands, alhamdulillah.
