Alhamdulillah, what an incredible day we had at the Al-Noor Dragon Boat Race!
By the grace of Allah, the weather was absolutely perfect, the energy was electric, and the community spirit was unmatched. This year marked a major milestone for us: for the very first time, we were able to field both a Brothers Team and a Sisters Team!

May Allah (SWT) reward all our participants for their immense hard work, dedication, and infectious enthusiasm. You made the entire community proud!
- The Brothers Team: Alhamdulillah, the brothers have been improving year after year, and their hard work paid off spectacularly this time as they fought their way into the Semi-Finals!
- The Sisters Team: Masha’Allah, making their debut appearance, the sisters put on a phenomenal and inspiring performance in their first race. Insha’Allah, this is just the beginning of a beautiful tradition, and they will continue to grow even stronger each year.
Teamwork for a Greater Cause 🕌
This event was a beautiful display of unity, brotherhood, and sisterhood. Beyond the race itself, so much sacrifice went on behind the scenes. May Allah reward everyone who gave up their valuable time, drove participants back and forth for training sessions, and supported the teams on the big day.
Every single paddle stroke was done for the sake of Allah and to raise vital funds for our Masjid Redevelopment Project. This expansion is crucial to creating a dedicated, welcoming space that can provide the best possible services for our growing community.
