The Prophet ﷺ said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”
(Bukhari)
This Dhul Hijjah we have a full programme of events — from daily heart reminders to Eid in the Park. Come, bring your family, and let’s make the most of these blessed days together.
Events and Activities
Day of Arafah
The Day of Arafah is one of the most sacred days of the Islamic year. We have two special community gatherings on this day — join us for either or both of them.
- Reviving the heart – After Asr (7pm)
- Community Iftar – Maghrib
Daily Reminders for the Heart
Each day after Dhuhr
Every day during the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, join us after Dhuhr for short, powerful reminders — designed to soften the heart and reconnect us with Allah. No booking needed, all are welcome.
Community Iftar on the Day of Arafah
Day of Arafah
Join us at IANL for a special community iftar on the blessed Day of Arafah. Break the fast together as one community — a sunnah of sharing, togetherness, and gratitude. Families and individuals welcome.
Reviving the Heart
Day of Arafah
On the blessed Day of Arafah, join us for a powerful evening of Quran, reflection, and community. An opportunity to connect with Allah, with our deen, and with each other — in the holiest of days. Come and revive the heart.
Eid al-Adha in the Park
Eid-al-Adha
This Eid, subject to good weather, we will be performing Eid Salah at Glebelands Local Nature Reserve (behind Finchley Vue Cinema) in a single Jamaat — brothers, sisters, young and old, all together, reviving the Sunnah of praying Eid in the open air.
Bring: prayer mat, bag for shoes, water & a chair if needed. No wudhu facilities on site.
Volunteer for Eid in the Park
Day of Arafah
We can’t deliver Eid in the Park without you! Volunteers are needed on the day (8am–12:30pm). You’ll also need to attend a training session on Saturday 23 May at IANL.
Build Our Mosque — Brick by Brick
There is no better time to give than during the best 10 days of the year.
IANL is raising £1,000,000 to complete Phase 3 of our mosque extension — securing a watertight structure so our community can use the new space for Salah, education, and community life.
Every brick you sponsor is a Sadaqah Jariyah that continues to reward you long after these blessed days have passed.
