Phase 3 – Stage 1
- The next main stage of works is due to commence shortly
- There will be part road closure outside the masjid to enable this
- At some point in the near future the front entrance will be closed for approximately one week
- During this period brothers and sisters will only be able to use the Rosemont entrance to enter the masjid
- This will allow the steel for the front extension to be erected and concrete floors to be put down
- We hope to have this work done within four days of the commencement of works
- The start days of the works is dependent on the Council giving permission for this
What will the impact be to you?
- When the work commences brothers and sisters will all enter the masjid from the sisters entrance at Rosemount Avenue for approximately one week
- The front entrance and road will be closed during this time please check your route to the masjid if you are driving and expect more traffic
- We will endeavour to have this disruption completed before applicable jummah
What’s happening next
- Wooden floors and the wooden roof structure will built next
- Fundraising for the completion of Phase 3 is ongoing
