What has happened?
- Phases 1 and 2 (groundworks, foundations and first floor concrete floor) have now been completed, Alhamdulillah.
What will the impact be to you?
- For now, entrance arrangements remain unchanged for brothers and sisters. However please look out for signage in the coming weeks for any changes.
Instructions for IANL users
- Do not park in front of the Taylor Wimpey (Homebase) entrance. It is in constant use by heavy machinery
- Continue to use the new main temporary entrance to the masjid. Note that entrances may be opened and closed at short notice so please observe signage
- Please keep out of the hoarded areas and supervise children at all times
What’s happening next
- Widening of Rosemont entrance gates to comply with fire safety regulations
- Removal of scaffolding from the ground floor of the front extension
- Agree scope and budget of next contract to commence Phase 3 works imminently, based on currently available funds
- Fundraising to for complete of Phase 3 is ongoing
