Shaykh Shaqur Rehman
Sh Shaqur Rehman has completed a PGCE along with an MA in Applied Linguistics. He preceded his secular studies with a traditional Islamic education beginning in Egypt in 1999-2001 which he further developed in Syria and Saudi Arabia whilst teaching English in various universities and institutions. During his Islamic studies, he managed to memorise the Holy Qur’an and attain authorisation (Ijaza) in recitation and various Islamic sciences including theology and jurisprudence. Sh Shaqur is currently a Senior Advisor at the Islamic Council of Europe.

Shaykh Farid Haibatan
Shaykh Farid Haibatan graduated in Electronic Systems Engineering and holds a bachelors in Engineering (B.Eng) from the University of Essex. After graduation he spent a number of years at the Islamic University in Madinah where he studied the Arabic Language and other religious sciences. Since his return from Madinah, he has been involved in Islamic Da’wah and has for many years taught the Arabic language and Islamic Studies.

Ustadh Asif Uddin is a Student of Knowledge and has studied the Islamic sciences in Mauritania, Egypt and Qatar, and continues that journey today. Asif gives weekly circles on Aqeedah and Tafseer and is a lecturer for Sabeel (MRDF) and Chief Editor at Islam21c.com.

Ustadh Jamil Rashid is a Business Management graduate who specialises in the management of third-sector faith based organisations. He has worked with many of the leading Islamic charities in the UK. Ustadh Jamil is also the director of Huda Television UK and has worked in the Islamic media industry for just under 15 years.

Imam Omar Hajaj
Ustadh Omar is one of the Imams at WLICC in Parsons Green. Originally from Jaffa, he was born and raised in the UK. He studied Anthropology in university in the UK and Shariah in the Islamic University of Madina. He has been involved with a number of well-known Islamic organisations including Al Jumuah Magazine, Al Muntada Al Islami, FOSIS and MRDF. He has led on national pro-justice campaigns in the UK and is the founder and director of Yaseen Youth Tours.
