Office Administrator supporting IANL Operations

Essential Skills

  • Dedication to the house of Allah
  • Proven experience as an office administrator in a similar organisation
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Office administration and IT literacy – proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google web applications
  • Proactive approach to working individually and as part of a team

Qualifications

Ideally qualified to a degree level or equivalent

Core Responsibilities

  • IANL touchpoint – first point of contact for service users, visitors, and inquirers via phone and email
  • Office administration – filing, printing, and equipment maintenance
  • Trustee secretary – take instruction from trustees and take minutes for trustee meetings
  • Communications – updating noticeboards, supplying Imams with Jummah announcements, and coordinating weekly event updates with various IANL teams
  • Event preparation and management such as Jummah and Eid
  • Manage IANL databases
  • Maintain incident log database
  • Nikah, Talaq, Shahadah enquiries and certification
  • Liaise and take direction from IANL Director
  • Online calendar and diary coordination for use of IANL premises, team meetings, events, and site maintenance
  • Manage and oversee essential maintenance of IANL property and equipment
